Bohumil Hrabal’s summer home to open to public on May 20

The newly reconstructed holiday home of the late Czech writer Bohumil Hrabal will open to the public on Saturday May 20. The summer cottage in Kersko, just 30 kilometres east of Prague, will host the annual meeting of Hrabal’s fans. Work on the interior continues since some of the furniture is still being renovated. The Central Bohemian Region and the Museum of Polabí are turning the summer residence into an exhibition space for visitors.
