Petr Janda and Olympic set for documentary treatment

Documentary maker Olga Malířová Špátová is preparing a film about veteran Czech rock star Petr Janda and his group Olympic. The feature length documentary should be released at the end of next year and will be named Django, referencing the musician’s nickname.

The film is being made in connection with the 60th anniversary of the foundation of Olympic. Petr Janda recently turned 80.
