Muchová loses third round of French Open after ankle injury
The Olomouc-born tennis star Karolína Muchová did not make it past the third round in the French Open tournament today after sustaining an injury. She won the first set against American player Amanda Anisimova, but sprained her right ankle in the second set, which she lost 2:6. She had her ankle taped and tried to continue playing, but lost the third set 0:3.
With Muchová’s defeat, there are no more Czech tennis players left in the women’s singles.
