Half of Zeman’s economic advisors quit
Half of President Miloš Zeman’s team of economic advisors have quit, Seznam Zprávy reported. Five of the 10 members have stood down, saying that they had run out of patience or that regular meetings at the presidential retreat near Prague were a waste of time, the news site said.
Those who have resigned include the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Vladímir Dlouhý, the president of the Confederation of Industry, Jaroslav Hanák, the governor of the Czech National Bank, Jiří Rusnok, ex-MP and unions chief Jaroslav Zavadil and the chairman of the Union of Towns and Municipalities, František Lukl.
