ANO’s Krkoška becomes governor of Moravia-Silesia
Jan Krkoška of ANO has been elected governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region. He replaces Ivo Vondrák, who stood down. Mr. Vondrák was in the post from 2016. He quit the party this year after supporting Petr Pavel for president, rather than ANO boss Andrej Babiš.
Mr. Krkoška previously served as deputy governor for regional development and tourism.
