Prague Congress Centre struggling under wave of incoming Ukrainian refugees

Prague’s Congress Centre, which currently processes Ukrainian refugees, saw a huge influx of people on Friday night, Prague Mayor Zdeněk Hřib has announced on Twitter. He added that Ukrainian speakers are welcome to come and help with translating this weekend.

Around 2,600 people were processed in the Congress Centre by midnight, of whom 390 found housing. However, the situation became calmer on Saturday, Prague City Hall spokesman Vít Hofman said.
