Prague’s refugees centre reopening at new venue Thursday
Prague’s Assistance Centre for Ukrainian refugees will change venue later this week, the city’s mayor, Zdeněk Hřib, said on Tuesday. The facility has to date been housed at the Congress Centre but is set to reopen at a former bank in the Vysočana district on Thursday morning.
Tens of thousands of people escaping Russia’s war on Ukraine have been processed at the Assistance Centre since it opened, with Prague remaining the most popular destination for the refugees.
