Further growth of Covid cases registered on Thursday
Laboratories in the Czech Republic registered 11,675 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday. This represents an increase of around 75 percent on the same day a week ago and the fourth day in a row that cases are rising.
The seven-day average incidence also grew and currently stands at 525 per 100,000 inhabitants.
Despite the growth in new cases, hospital admissions continue to fall. On Thursday, their number dropped below 2,000 for the first time since last October.
