Covid numbers still dropping, but fewer tests undertaken

Laboratories in the Czech Republic registered 6,850 new cases of Covid 19 on Monday, almost 2,000 less than on the same day a week ago. However the number of tests conducted was also significantly lower, according to data released by the Ministry of Health.

The incidence number is now at 363 per 100,000 inhabitants. The number of people hospitalized with Covid has dropped by a third in the course of the past week to 3,505, of whom 687 are in a serious condition.

Covid numbers started dropping roughly a month ago. In November they peaked at around 28,000 infected people a day.
