Covid cases dropping, but number of hospitalized rising
Laboratories in the Czech Republic confirmed just over 29,000 new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday, roughly a third less than on the same day a week ago. However the number of tests conducted was also down by a third. There were 5,000 reinfections. The incidence number is now at 1,829 per 100,000 inhabitants. However, the number of people hospitalized with Covid has increased as has the number of people requiring intensive care. Interest in getting a vaccine has dropped steeply with just over 15,000 vaccines administered nationwide on Wednesday.
