EU’s Space Agency in Prague set to expand

The satellite navigation system Galileo, whose maintenance and operation is managed by the Prague-based European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) is set to expand its capabilities, EUSPA spokeswoman Marie Menard has told the Czech News Agency. EUSPA itself will also expand, with the Czech state currently looking for a new headquarters for the agency in the country’s capital.

Galileo, which started providing services to the public in 2016, currently helps more than 2.4 billion users across the world while also helping boost Czech technology projects, according to EUSPA.
