The two investors are reportedly looking to acquire a 10 to 20 percent stake in the company. At current market prices, Pirelli has a market value of around 7.5 billion euros, or roughly 181 billion Czech crowns.
The report says the talks are still at an early stage, with differing views on the company's valuation between the Czech investors and Sinochem seen as the main obstacle to a deal.

Czech farmers are expected to harvest just under 6.47 million tonnes of basic cereals this year, according to the Czech Statistical Office's first crop estimate, released on Friday. That is 15.9 percent less than last year and well below the five-year average.
The rapeseed harvest is also forecast to decline, falling 17.1 percent year on year to around 847,000 tonnes.
The lower harvest is mainly the result of exceptionally dry weather in the spring, which has left farmers expecting a below-average cereal crop this year.

More than 7,100 cases of scabies have been recorded in Czechia since the start of the year, around 40 percent more than in the first half of 2025, the Czech Public Health Service said on Thursday. The highest numbers were reported in the Moravian-Silesian, Central Bohemian and South Moravian regions.
Health officials are urging people to seek treatment as soon as symptoms appear to help prevent further spread. Scabies is a contagious skin disease that causes intense itching and a rash. If left untreated, it can lead to serious bacterial infections.
Four people aged between 52 and 80 have died from scabies-related complications this year, according to the National Institute of Public Health. The disease spreads mainly through prolonged skin-to-skin contact or by sharing contaminated bedding, towels or clothing.
