Covid numbers fall further, fewer than 1,000 in hospital
Some 4,745 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the Czech Republic on Monday, which was around one-quarter fewer than on the same day last week. There was a similar fall in suspected reinfections, with 954 registered. Tests also decreased.
There were 1,365 people in hospital on Monday with the coronavirus, roughly 480 fewer than seven days earlier.
The seven-day case incidence rate was 276 per 100,000.
The number of infections has been falling steadily since a peak in early February.
