Ministry of Health readying five-level plan for easing restrictions
A model for easing current Covid-19 restrictions being prepared by the Czech Ministry of Health will have five levels, the minister of health, Jan Blatný, said. The new system will evaluate the level of risk of catching the virus in individual regions, he told a meeting of the lower house’s health committee.
The fortnightly number of new Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, the impact of the virus on the elderly population, a simplified reproduction number and the proportion of people who have tested positive in all tests will be used to assess the region on a scale of zero to 100 percent risk, Mr. Blatný said.
