Median poll: most acceptable option for Czechs is ANO Party government
A survey by the Median agency shows that a one-party government led by the opposition ANO Party is the most acceptable outcome for Czechs after October’s parliamentary elections, with 41 percent of respondents supporting it. A coalition between ANO Party and Freedom and Direct Democracy Party came second with 37 percent, followed by the former five-party coalition of Spolu, STAN, and the Pirates at 31 percent. Support for a one-party ANO cabinet is strongest among its voters, older citizens, and those with lower education levels. In contrast, younger and university-educated respondents favor the continuation of the current multi-party coalition.
