Kvitová loses in Miami quarter-finals

Czech tennis player Petra Kvitová lost 3:6 in two consecutive sets to current women’s points leader Iga Swiatek in the quarter-finals of the Miami Open on Wednesday. Kvitová, who is 32, lost in 77 minutes to the Polish player, who is 12 years her junior.

Two-time Wimbledon winner Kvitová is currently ranked 32 in the world.
