Kmochuv Kolin
Leaving the confines of Prague now and Czech music buffs may well be acquainted with the name Frantisek Kmoch, who spent much of the 19th century teaching, composing and conducting in the Bohemian town of Kolin. Every year, the town hosts a music festival in honour of the great man - Kmochuv Kolin - and this year Radio Prague's Kolin correspondent Irena Valkova sent us this report:
