Fire breaks out at National Theatre in Prague
Close to a dozen firefighter units were called to a fire in the historic National Theatre building in Prague on Tuesday afternoon. Around a hundred employees were evacuated from the building and traffic around the National Theatre was disrupted. There were no visitors in the building at the time and no one was reported injured. The fire reportedly spread through a shaft in the building, but it is not clear where or how it started. It was contained within a short time. It is not clear if the evening performance will have to be cancelled.
