Czech women’s ice hockey team takes World Championships bronze

Czechia rallied to defeat Switzerland 4-2 in the bronze-medal match at the women’s Ice Hockey World Championship in Frederikshavn, Denmark on Sunday.

The Czechs decided the game in the first two period, with two of the goals scored by Natálie Mlýnková. It is the first World Championship medal for the Czech women’s team, which is led by Canadian coach Carly MacLeod.
