Czech women’s ice hockey team suffers 1-10 defeat to US

The Czech women’s ice hockey team suffered a 1-10 defeat against the US in the semifinals of the World Championship in Herning. The Americans decided the game in the first period, when they scored six goals. The Czechs will next face either Switzerland or Canada in the bronze medal match.
