Czechia claims first-ever World Para Hockey medal
Czechs won the bronze medal at the World Para Ice Hockey Championships in Moose Jaw, Canada on Sunday, after defeating China 3:2. It is the first-ever World Championship medal for the Czech para hockey team.
Two years ago, Czechia finished fifth at the Ostrava championships after a quarter-final defeat by Russia. The title went to the Americans, who beat Canada 6-1 in the final.
