Czech women’s ice hockey team advances into World Championship semifinals  

The Czech women’s ice hockey team beat Finland 2:1 in the quarterfinals of the World Championship on Thursday and celebrate their first ever qualification for the medal round.

The match, which took place in Frederikshavn, Denmark, was decided by Aneta Tejralová within the first minute of overtime. In Saturday's semi-final, the Czechs will face the US team.
