Czech Philharmonic receives prestigious award from BBC Music Magazine

The Czech Philharmonic won the prestigious BBC Music Magazine Award for its recording of Bedřich Smetana's My Country, which was made in January 2021 during a COVID-19 lockdown, under the baton of Principal Conductor and Music Director Semyon Byčkov. The award for the orchestral work was one of the annual prizes presented during a gala evening at London’s Kings Place concert hall. The awards were decided by public vote.
