Czech hockey team beats Germany 5:0

The Czech men’s hockey team defeated Germany 5:0 at the World Championship in Herning on Monday, winning their sixth game at the tournament and maintaining their position at the top of Group B. Jakub Flek scored two goals, David Pastrňák contributed with a goal and an assist, Roman Červenka and Martin Nečas each scored one goal. On Tuesday, the team will face the United States at 4:20 pm CET.

Prague City Hall plans to install a large screen on Old Town Square at the weekend where people can watch the World Hockey Championship. People will be able to root for the Czech team on Saturday May 24th May if they reach the semi-finals and on May 25th if they advance to the final.
