Czech Christmas carols with a rock twist
With Christmas just around the corner, it is the perfect time to enjoy some Christmas carols. This edition of the Sunday Music Show features classic carols with a rock twist, performed by the Czech rock band Olympik and special guests Marta Jandová, Bára Basiková, and Bohouš Josef. Released in 2008, the CD includes traditional folk carols, the famous baroque carol Chtíc, aby spal by Adam Michna of Otradovice from Jan Jakub Ryba’s Czech Christmas Mass, as well as an original Christmas carol by Petr Janda.
