Covid epidemic slowing

The Czech Republic registered 2,216 new cases of Covid19 on Monday, approximately 360 fewer than on the same day a week ago, according to data released by the Czech Ministry of Health. The reproduction number has risen slightly, to 0.9, but remains below the critical 1.00 mark. Over one million people have so far received both doses of a Covid vaccine and approximately another million people have received one dose.  230,000 people over the age of 70 have not registered to get the vaccine.
