Covid-19: number of new cases remain below 2,000 for third straight day
The Czech Republic registered 1,631 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday, which was a slight increase compared to Thursday but 536 fewer than on the same day a week ago. According to the Ministry of Health data, the daily increase of new coronavirus cases remained below 2,000 for the third day in a row.
Health officials administered more than 80,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine for the second consecutive day on Friday. To date, nearly 3.6 doses of vaccine have been administered, and over a million people have received two doses.
