Saturday’s Covid-19 increase lowest in months
The Czech Republic registered 717 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, which was about 450 fewer than on the same day a week ago. It was the first time since last September that Saturday’s increase of new coronavirus cases dropped below 1,000, suggest the Ministry of Health Data.
The reproduction number has also declined slightly and now stands at 0.78. Over the past seven days, the Czech Republic had an average of 102 cases Covid-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. To date, health officials administered over 3.6 million doses of vaccine have been administered.
