Covid: Czech seven-day incidence rate climbs to 1,086 per 100,000 inhabitants

Nearly 26,000 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the Czech Republic on Wednesday. That is 2,500 fewer than registered on Tuesday but some 14,500 more than on the same day a week ago.

Ministry of Health data show that 4,700 cases of Covid reinfections were recorded on Wednesday while the seven-day average of new infections rose from 950 per 100,000 inhabitants on Tuesday to 1,086.
