Covid-19: Czechs to include Germany on high-risk map

Germany will be among the Czech Republic’s list of high-risk countries for contracting Covid-19 as of Monday. It will appear in red on the traveller’s map, sources from the Ministry of Health indicated on Friday.

The new designation would means that anyone looking to enter the Czech Republic from Germany will have to undergo a PCR test and remain in isolation until the result is known. Exceptions apply for people fully immunized or who have overcome Covid-19 in the previous 180 days.

The inclusion of Germany in the list of high-risk countries is based on data from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
