116 athletes set to represent Czech Republic at Tokyo Olympics

Altogether 116 athletes from the Czech Republic have qualified for the summer Olympic Games scheduled to take place in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8.

Athletes should make up the largest single group with 30 nominees, including hurdler Zuzana Hejnová and javelin thrower Jakub Vadlejch.

The team for the previous summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro included 104 athletes and was the smallest since the foundation of the Czech Republic.
