“Where Is Anne Frank?” by Ari Folman wins main prize at Anifilm

The main prize for adult feature film at the 21st Anifilm International Film Festival in Liberec went to “Where Is Anne Frank?” by Israeli director Ari Folman, who gained international recognition for his 2008 Oscar-nominated animated documentary “Waltz with Bashir”. The award for the best feature film for children went to Japanese director Mamoru Hosoda for his science fantasy Belle.

Anifilm traditionally offered the best of the last year's animated films production from at home and abroad. It presented more than 500 films in and out of competition, including feature films, short films, student films, music videos and computer games.
