Vondroušová finishes last in group at WTA Finals

Markéta Vondroušová has failed to make it out of the group stage of tennis’s WTA Finals in Mexico’s Cancun. The Czech lost 7-5 6-7 3-6 to Coco Gauff of the US on Friday for her third defeat in three matches.

Wimbledon winner Vondroušová, who was taking part in the prestigious season-ending tournament for the first time, finished last in her four-player group.
