Very last Czech Airlines flight ends century of aviation history on Saturday

The very last Czech Airlines (CSA) flight will depart from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and fly to Prague’s Václav Havel Airport on Saturday evening. From Sunday, CSA, which is one of the five oldest air carriers in the world, will become just another brand in the portfolio of the Smartwings group. In ticketing systems or on departure boards, flights will be marked with the QS code used by Smartwings. However, the OK brand name and the traditional colours of CSA will remain on the aircrafts that are in operation. The same livery will also be given to four smaller Airbus A220-300s, the first two of which are due for delivery later this year and another two due to be delivered in the first half of 2025.
