Travel restrictions eased for vaccinated citizens under series of bilateral agreements

The citizens of Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Poland who have been vaccinated against Covid will be able to travel to the Czech Republic without any restrictions starting Saturday May 15, under a bilateral agreement reached with the stated countries. An agreement with Slovakia is being fine-tuned and should come into effect within a week.

The easing of travel restrictions concerns all who have received at least one dose of the vaccine three weeks ago or longer. Similar agreements are now being negotiated with Croatia and Greece, which are popular tourist destinations for Czechs.
