Together recommend voters back Pavel, Nerudová or Fischer for president

The three-party Together alliance, who are members of the Czech governing coalition, have said that they will not put forward their own candidate for president in elections. At a press conference on Tuesday, Prime Minister Petr Fiala of the Civic Democrats said that Together would be recommending that people vote for one of three candidates: Petr Pavel, Danuše Nerudová or Pavel Fischer.

Together plan to run a campaign prior to the elections highlighting the values they regard as important in choosing a president.

The main opposition ANO party are expected to reveal their plans for the presidential election in late October.
