Three Moravian villages hit by flash floods
Three villages in Moravia were hit by flash floods on Sunday following heavy rain. Firefighters intervened in Banín, Rudná and Svojanov, clearing mud deposits from flooded garages and cellars, clearing sewer drains and clogged bridges. No significant damage was reported. The weekend brought the first storms of the year in the Czech Republic and the rainy weather is expected to continue for most of the week.
