Thousands of Czechs in Middle East destinations

Several thousand Czech citizens are currently in Middle Eastern destinations affected by the latest escalation, according to the Czech Association of Travel Agencies. Its vice-chair Jan Papež said the situation is impacting travellers both in directly affected countries and in destinations connected via the United Arab Emirates or Qatar. The association is monitoring developments and will decide on further assistance depending on how events unfold.
