Tennis: Petra Kvitová, Tereza Martincová enter Ostrava quarterfinals

Czech tennis players Petra Kvitová and Tereza Martincová both have matches in Ostrava on Friday that will determine whether they make the semifinals at the WTA domestic tournament.

Martincová, who starts with a wild card in the main competition, faces Maria Sakkari of Greece in the opening quarterfinals at 2 pm. The second seed Kvitová will duel Jil Teichmann of Switzerland at 6pm at the earliest.
