Sunday Music Show
In the last months of our Sunday Music Show we tried to give you quite a broad selection of musical genres and personalities in the Czech Republic, from modern classical to jazz to pop. To keep up the spirit of diversity so – and hoping that our faithful listeners could expect about anything at this point - I’ve opted to take you somewhere on the musical map where we haven’t been yet – welcome to the world of minimal techno, as offered up by DJ Ladida.
Linda Štěpníčková you might not know, but wherever you are in the world - if the club scene is your thing – you are almost sure to know her by her stage name, DJ Ladida. The model-come-turntable princess first appeared in the mid-90s and made a huge name for herself around the world, admired for her precision and taste, and not least for her fine looks. Around the turn of the new century she picked up some of the highest accolades in the business and appeared at major clubs and festivals from South America to Singapore. Now newly a mother (the rare kind, incidentally, that says the best way for a mum to get her figure back is surfing), Ladida is still out enchanting dance audiences everywhere.
