South Africa will not extradite Krejčíř to Czechia until he serves 35-year sentence, says report
South Africa will not extradite fugitive Czech businessman Radovan Krejčíř until he serves his 35-year prison sentence there, according to the website Odkryto, citing an interview with the South African justice ministry for News24. Ministry spokesman Terence Manasa confirmed that Krejčíř must complete his sentence before any extradition, as there is no prisoner transfer agreement between the two countries. Krejčíř fled Czechia in 2005 amid criminal investigations and has been imprisoned in South Africa since 2013 for serious crimes, including attempted murder and drug trafficking. Czech authorities have sought his extradition since 2007.
