Some Prague galleries open on New Year's Day

Despite the public holiday on January 1, several Prague galleries will remain open. The House at the Stone Bell on Old Town Square will showcase American photographer Bruce Weber's My Education, while Kunsthalle Praha will present Restless Soul by Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota. The House at the Stone Bell, operated by the Prague City Gallery, will offer discounted entry from 2 PM to 8 PM – one ticket admits two visitors. Kunsthalle Praha will open from 2 PM to 9 PM. Other venues, including Museum Kampa, will also welcome visitors, while the National Gallery's exhibitions will close on January 1.
