Some politicians from ODS and KDU-ČSL support ending Spolu coalition

Some regional politicians, mostly from ODS and the Christian Democrats (KDU-ČSL), support dissolving or suspending the Spolu coalition while in opposition, while others favor continuing the partnership, according to a ČTK survey. For example, South Moravian Governor Jan Grolich (KDU-ČSL) expects the parties to part ways amicably. ODS Senator Tomáš Goláň believes the Spolu project should definitely come to an end. On the other hand, Herbert Pavera, head of the Moravian-Silesian branch of TOP 09, supports keeping the coalition intact. Newly elected MP Vítězslav Schrek (ODS) thinks it's time to start discussing a potential merger of all three parties.

The Spolu coalition came in second in the parliamentary elections, behind the ANO movement, and is likely heading into opposition.
