Some 80 buildings open to public for Open House Prague
Dozens of buildings, from historical sights to state-of-the art office spaces, open to the public on Saturday within the seventh edition of the Open House Prague festival.
The event, which this year commemorates the 150th anniversary of the birth of the renownedCzech architect Jan Kotěra, invites visitors to look around 80 buildings all around Prague, which are otherwise inaccessible to the public.
These include, for example, the Laichter House in Vinohrady, Trmal Villa in Strašnice, and Vršovice Waterworks in Michle, desiged by Jan Kotěra. Visitors can also take a look inside the delapidating City Spa in Žižkov, which used to be the biggest and most modern spa in the city.
Open House Prague is part of the Open House Worldwide international network of festivals, which take place in dozens of cities around the world.
