Sněžka is the highest mountain peak in the Czech Republic, and is found in the Krkonoše Mountains in the far north-east of Bohemia. One can either climb it on foot or use the cable car that ends just below the 1603 metre high summit of Sněžka. In good weather it offers spectacular views of the Czech and Polish surroundings.
