Škoda boosts global sales by almost 14 percent in first half of 2025
Czech carmaker Škoda Auto increased its global sales by almost 14% in the first half of 2025, delivering 509,400 vehicles. In Europe alone, the company sold 409,100 cars — a 10.5% year-on-year rise — moving it from fourth to third place among the continent’s top-selling brands. Electric and hybrid vehicles made up nearly 29% of Škoda’s European sales, more than double compared to last year. Revenue rose 10.4% to €15.07 billion, with operating profit up 11.8% to €1.285 billion. The return on sales edged slightly higher to 8.5%.
