Siniaková to continue doubles partnership with Townsend next season

Czech tennis player Kateřina Siniaková will continue her doubles partnership with American player Taylor Townsend next season. The pair have won two Grand Slam titles together and came very close to reaching the final of the WTA Finals in Riyadh on Friday.

In their semifinal match, they held a match point but were defeated by the Russian-Belgian duo of Veronika Kudermetova and Elise Mertens, losing 6–4, 6–7, 6–10 after nearly two hours of play.

Speaking to the website Tenisový svět, the 29-year-old Czech confirmed that she and Townsend will keep playing together and admitted she regretted making too many unforced errors in the decisive moments.
