Siniaková claims fourth doubles title of the season in Wuhan

Czech tennis player Kateřina Siniaková and Australia’s Storm Hunter won the doubles title at the Wuhan Open, defeating Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina and Serbia’s Aleksandra Krunić 6–3, 6–2 in Saturday’s final. The world No. 1 in doubles secured her 32nd career title and fourth this season.

This year, Siniaková has won with three different partners — the Australian Open and Dubai with American Taylor Townsend, and Seoul with Barbora Krejčíková, before her partner’s knee injury ended their Asian tour.

The Wuhan victory is Siniaková’s third career title with Hunter. The pair first teamed up last year but had to pause after Hunter’s serious Achilles injury, returning together this season.
