Several countries call on Czechia to help in fight against Covid-19

Several countries, including Ukraine, Belarus and Kosovo, have called on the Czech Republic to assist them in their fight against Covid-19 by providing material help. Most of the countries are asking for protective gear and other medical equipment.

The head of the Central Crisis Staff, Jan Hamáček, said the Czech Republic would like to return the help it received during the Covid-19 crisis in October. According to the interior minister, the staff will now assess which of the requests can be fulfilled. The final decision will have to be approved by the government.
