Security checks on all visitors to Prague Castle end after five years

Security checks on all visitors entering the Prague Castle complex are to end from Friday, a spokesperson for President Miloš Zeman said on Tuesday. The controls were introduced in 2016.

Police will carry out random checks on visitors. The Castle courtyards and building interiors will be closed due to the Covid-19 situation. However, the complex’s gardens and the Stag Moat park will be open to the public.
